Grant Applications and Non-Standard Limited Data Set Projects

Process for supporting Grants and Non-Standard Limited Data Set Projects:

  1. Investigator fills out this application and submits to Claire Covington
  2. A meeting is arranged with Data Coordinating Center, President, Scientific Committee Chair and Investigator to understand the nature of the project and these items addressed:
    • Data use / limitations of use 
    • Output anticipated 
    • Timeline 
    • Consent 
    • Data pull versus analysis 
    • Need for new forms / new data collection 
  3. The DCC determines feasibility and Craig develops a budget for the specific project; discussion is had about expected number of papers
  4. If time the proposal is reviewed by scientific committee if not this is done after grant is submitted
  5. Investigator receives a letter of support if project is approved with supporting documentation
